How is Friar Lawrence a foil to Romeo? And Vise versa?

    Friar Lawrence is mature and thinks things through, a more cautionary figure, while Romeo is more impulsive and childish. A better foil for Romeo would be Tybalt, however, as they are polar opposites from similar backgrounds.
