Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1mg sin 30 is pointing downwards [well, in that direction] and tension is opposing it. The body is moving down too! So the mg sin 30 prevails right? Because that is the component of force that helps it move down. But tension is just the opposing force, which slows it down in that case. Sorry for the late reply.
