Block A has 4kg mass while b has 2kg. The coefficient of kinetic friction between block Band the horizontal plane is 0.50.The inclined plane is frictionless at an angle 30 degrees. What is the acceleration of the system?

    Why did you subtract tension from mgsin30 wouldnt it be the other way around since tension is going to the right and mgsin30 to the left?

    mg sin 30 is pointing downwards [well, in that direction] and tension is opposing it. The body is moving down too! So the mg sin 30 prevails right? Because that is the component of force that helps it move down. But tension is just the opposing force, which slows it down in that case. Sorry for the late reply.
