can u please tell me the mathematical formula for deriving the basic marginal utility curve?

    Given an utility function \[U=u(x_1,x_2)\] the marginal utility curve are represented by these two functions: \[MU_1= \frac{ du }{ dx_1 } \] \[MU_2=\frac{ du }{ dx_2 }\]
