What's the overall equation for forming tetrafluoroethane(C2H2F4)? 1. C2H2 + 2F2 = C2H2F4 2. 2C + H2 + 2F2 = C2H2F4 3. CO + CO2 + 4HF → CH2FCF3 + H2O + O2 I think the first reaction is so better than the others; Because the reactants are in one phase and the activated complex is simpler than the others. What do you think? (tnx & Sry 4 my weak English)
