I really need help :( I cannot figure this out, it is a practice question that I would like to understand. I will medal and fan if you'd like :) What is the effect of beginning the poem by focusing on how "some men" find all their inspiration in nature? It allows the speaker to set up the contrast to his or her own views. It creates the ideal the speaker works to achieve in the rest of the poem. It develops the key idea of how the speaker views nature. It suggests the speaker shares the same views as these others.

Okay, well first if you were to start a conversation or writing piece with "some men" what would your most likely reason for doing that be?

Okay. Would you say it is more likely that you would use it to prevent the assumption that you necessarily agree with the idea, whether or not you actually do. If you're using it to prevent association than it means you may not share the same views.
