Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0If you see anywhere in the cycle where gametes are produced (eggs and sperm) then that is meiosis, or if you see any indicators of ploidy (number of chromosome sets) like 2n or 2N vs just n or N and there is indication of going from 2n to n then that is meiosis.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0The sperm and egg indicate that meiosis is taking places because in order for it to be declared as meiosis, there must be a gamete produced.
