HELP!!!!! Solve for x. Round your answer to 2 decimal places. A right triangle is shown where the angle between the hypotenuse, of length x units, and a leg, of length eighteen units, is 50 degrees Find sinB and TanB

    you need to use the Pythagorean theory but in order to you need to know the other leg. to find the other leg you need to multiply 18 by the sqrt of 2 which equals 18sqrt2. now use the Pythagorean theorem

    a^2+b^2=c^ 18sqrt2^2+18^2=x^ 36+324=x^2 360=x^2 square root 360 to find x.

    x= 6sqrt10 but they want decimals so it is 18.97=x

    simple trig would work i think. And you cant assume it is a 90 degree angle

    90 is your answer. It may also be 96
