Will FAN and MEDAL A plane leaves airport A and travels 580 miles to airport B on a bearing of N34degreesE. The plane later leaves airport B and travels 400 miles to airport C on a beaning of S74degresE. Find the distance from airport A to airport C Did I put 74 in the correct spot? (picture)

    to solve AC, wouldn't you just use the Pythagorean theorem ?
