m is your slope and b is your y intercept
we already know the slope (m) is 34....and the points (5,-4)...x = 5 and y = -4.
So basically, we just need to find the y intercept (b)
now we use the formula
y = mx + b .....now we sub out info in and solve for b
-4 = 34(5) + b
-4 = 170 + b
-4 - 170 = b
-174 = b
so your equation is : y = 34x - 174
