    1. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a document adopted by the UN which states that all people have the right to be treated respectfully. World War I and World War II likely brought about this declaration because of the atrocities that were committed.

2.the Universal Declaration of Human Rights should be a question about the United Nations, not the United States. It was put forth by the Unuted Nations in 1948. The United States Declaration of Independence dates from 1776.

    3. Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Tortured or abused in at least 81 countries. Face unfair trials in at least 54 countries. Restricted in their freedom of expression in at least 77 countries. Not only that, but women and children in particular are marginalized in numerous ways, the press is not free in many countries, and dissenters are silenced, too often permanently. While some gains have been made over the course of the last six decades, human rights violations still plague the world today.

    4. It depends on which countries' human rights are violated. It appear great on paper but the U.S or U.N does not enforces human rights rules everywhere. A lot of times human rights are just ignored. Who is going to file a grievance, it has to be someone with influence, in many of the poor countries people can not read or write, and do not even know it existed. Every countries has some human rights abuses, some are more powerful and can hide their activities, it is the poor countries that can not hide if someone reports him, the stronger country can hide their activities, the victims get moved and can not be question.
