What is 22% expressed as a fraction in simplest form?

    percent literally means 'divide by 100' so start with 22 divided by 100 see if you can then simplify that

    yes that is the correct fraction but it can be simplified - but leave it as a fraction

    See if you can find a number that divides into both the numbers then divide both numbers by that.. that is what is known as the 'simplest form' i.e. has the smallest possible number on the bottom (denominator)
