    A. In this lesson, you were introduced to the quote “The sun never sets on the British Empire.” Do you think that one of today’s states could establish a vast empire like the British created in the 19th and 20th centuries? Support your response by identifying at least three factors in today’s world that would either allow or prevent a modern-day imperialist movement that rivals 19th and 20thcentury imperialism. Remember to support your ideas with factual evidence. B. Imagine that a political geographer makes the following remark: “Imperialism is a positive force.” How would you respond to this comment? Be sure to approach this question from a human geographer’s perspective and support your ideas with factual evidence.

No it's impossible for our modern states to be the size of the British empire because. Not even Texas is the size of the British empire and it's our biggest state besides our states cant expand much due to desserts and other foreign countries which will most likely involve war.

When the U.S. was trying to expand west after the revolutionary war. Battles and war from the Mexicans and Natives, and why? just to take land. Thats why our modern states can't really expand to be like the British empire because there really is no such then as "no where" anymore.
