Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.2There are a couple of ways to do this... 3/4z 1/6 = 1/2......to get rid of fractions, multiply everything by the common denominator of 12 (12)3/4z (12)1/6 = (12) 1/2 9z 2 = 6 add 2 to both sides 9z = 6 + 2 9z = 4 z = 4/9 OR THIS WAY 3/4z 1/6 = 1/2 add 1/6 to both sides 3/4z = 1/2 + 1/6 3/4z = 3/6 + 1/6 3/4z = 2/6 divide both sides by 3/4 z = (2/6) / (3/4) z = 2/6 * 4/3 z = 8/18 which reduces to 4/9
