Why doesn't Karana kill the leader of the wild dogs? A. The other dogs will not let her get close enough to kill him. B. He stands near his pups, and Karana does not want to kill them to get to the leader. C. She attacks the leader but fails to kill him. D. She sees him not as a killer but as an injured animal.
