OpenStudy on FireFox is almost unbearable. It takes forever to load, and keeps freezing every 5 seconds. Is there a way you can fix this, please?

i just tried on internet explorer, and it was not any better. what is the recommended browser to use openstudy? if it's chrome, i'm going to laugh, because chrome has given me such a headache these past few days. i've been relieved to be rid of it, and i quite like firefox and its customization. i just wish openstudy could do something about the freezing.

i just installed firefox the other day, and i scanned my computer today, so i don't have a virus. i think it's just openstudy. it doesn't freeze for any other site.

Maybe try the Firefox developer addition? I use that sometimes and its faster than the normal one. It used to be called Mozilla Aurora

Firefox actually does crash openstudy for me, that's why I stopped using it. Believe it or not, chrome is the browser I use, and never had problems with it on OS.

Same issue here running the latest Firefox (Mercurial tree build at the time of typing this). Same issue for any other Gecko-based browser actually. I think it has something to do with the CSS (maybe too intensive on older computers?) or the JavaScript usage. Dual core processor, clocked at 1.50GHz here.

clearing the cookies actually helped for me. it's not crashing/freezing as much as it was, making it easier to tolerate. thank you for the advice @paki :)
