@supercait10 "Pheno" is a from a ancient Greek word. It means "showing" or "appearing" and "geno" is a form of "gene". "Gene" is German, apparently derived from "-gen", a French-Greek hybrid that means "that which produces" when added to the end of other terms/words, e.g., "hydrogen".
