I'm assuming you're new to computer science and programming in general. I would not recommend just jumping into a language. Learn the basics of computer science, and then move onto a language. Here's a good start: https://www.google.com/about/careers/students/guide-to-technical-development.html Would highly recommend the Computer Science 101 course from Coursera. They assume no prior knowledge, and give a good foundation of knowledge. If you want to skip that part and just get into Python right away, this is a good start: https://developers.google.com/edu/python/
