Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Whenever I get a question like this that I am not sure of the answer, I write google around and write some code. Clearly the only option which makes sense here is using the sort function. players = 'zbfzc' print players.find('b') #returns the position of b which is the second position of 1 def less_than_f(element): return element < 'f' print filter(less_than_f,players) #strings are imutable so only makes sense to do this on a list players = ['z', 'b', 'f', 'x','c'] players.sort() print players
