    X-rays are electromagnetic waves, and electromagnetic waves can travel in absence of medium, please keep in mind the sunlight, which is an electromagnetic wave, and it travels from Sun to Earth, into the empty space

    It is simple, we are able to see the object since they reflect the sunlight, so the glass transmit sunlight
