    parallelogram with right triangle usually equals a trapezoid area of a trapezoid = 1/2(b1 + b2) * perpendicular height where b1 and b2 are the parallel sides

    i just saw the figure seeems area of parallelogram different plane from triangle area of triangle = 1/2* base * height = 1/2* (20 - 14)*12.6 area of parallelogram = b* h
