Such as: Relaxation The wind blows I breathe deeply I close my eyes so tight I can barely see light It feels as if I float in thin air It's relaxing, it's refreshing It's peace, it's nature It's as if I can fly And never die...
Just start writing xD Don't worry about rhyming (usually that's what comes to peoples mind when they hear poetry. Personally, I don't like rhyming poems. If it flows well it's my cup of tea :)) Go somewhere you can get inspiration Think of happy things! think of things you want to express! There's no real process and it's different for each person :) Good luck!!

just write whatever comes to your mind and if that doesn't work ... find something that inspires you. I once had a professor who wore nothing but gray shirts... so that was my inspiration to write a bunch of poems of how nasty and unhygienic it was. I remembered writing 8 poems in a week. I didn't have to do anything for my Form and Theory of Poetry classes because I already did the assignments last semester , so the course was like a study hall... and I got an A
