Welcome to openstudy! The awnser is pineapples! (Just kidding, you havent asked the question yet heh, try posting it and see if we can awnser!)
Oh, hehe! Well, I have to write a letter to "persuade the people of Northern Ireland to pursue peace." You know how there are two kinds of people living in Ireland, right? Well, there are the true Irish people, and the English who conquered the land. So, I am being asked to write a letter using positive diction like Gandhi (he always talked peacefully in letters and never encouraged violence) to persuade these people to live in peace. I basically need help with the more technical side of things: who are these two groups of people, what is their history, and why haven't they been able to live in peace so far? After that, I can do everything else!!
"Be peaceful or we'll assassinate each and every one of you."
I know. He's so mean.
Pretty sure that Ghandi didn't mean it that way...
Never took English IV with them; took AP English Lit. However, with the northern Irish, you must consider culture and religion. Northern Ireland is still under control of England while the rest of Ireland is not. Also to be considered is that the majority of the Irish are catholic while the northern Irish and the English are Protestant.
Thank you!! Have there been any tragedies between these two parts of Ireland? Battles or protests, or political disputes? What happens between the people?
OMG!! W-- Let me message you. xD
