Hi I'm doing a huge project for my accounting class and I'm quite stuck with where I'm supposed to place my current portion of long term debt. There is not supposed to be a designated account for "current portion of long term debt" so on my unadjusted trial balance I can't stick the 1,000$ into an account. Where should I put this money? Should I place it into my notes payable account? Thank you in advance! I'm really confused as to where the current portion of long term debt amount should go!
