    yep right both angle are in first quadrant |dw:1433169687740:dw| left side 60=30-90 triangle and right side 45-45 90 triangle given is sqrt 2 over 2 so which one you suppose to use ?

    yep given is value of soc you have to find at what angle cosine is sqrt2 over2 inverse ! :-)
