    to find the area of a rectangle, the formula is B x H or Base x hieght (This is also Length time width, they are the same thing) So, you would multiply 5.5 x 3

    Is there a picture of the scale? You would want to use that to first convert 5.5 and 3 into feet, then multiply them.

    it does not tell you how many inches represents a certain amount of feet?

    Like a key or something that says "1 inch = 5 feet"

    Honestly, without a better key i really cant say... i dont understand the scale to well. but, i can tell you that its 16.5 inches, you would have to use the scale to convert it to feet...
