To express a common fraction as a decimal fraction divide the denominator into the numerator and to express a decimal fraction as a percentage you multiply by 100. Thus 4/5 expressed as a decimal fraction is 0.80 and hence 4/5 expressed as a percentage is 80%

Then multiply by 100 to get the percentage.
