What is diffraction? A. the way a ray of light changes direction when it enters a new medium B. the way an object forms clear and sharp shadows C. the bending of a wave around the edges of an obstacle D. the process by which a rainbow forms in the sky **i forget this :/

    I think the third option, namely we have the phenomena of diffraction when a radiation has to pass through edges whose dimensions are comparable with the wave length of that radiation
