Saul has a checking account. His opening balance on 5/3 was $120. The bank charges 25¢ for each check he writes, 35¢ for each debit card transaction, and $1.75 for each nonbank ATM transaction. Saul made the following transactions: Withdrew $20 cash from nonbank ATM on 5/10 Deposited gift of $50 cash on 5/17 Transferred $35 from savings account on 5/20 Wrote $45 check for shoes on 5/27 What is Saul’s balance after the transaction on 5/27?

This one can't be solved. Deposited gift of $50 cash on 5/17 At an ATM? It makes a difference. Transferred $35 from savings account on 5/20 Again, at an ATM? Wrote $45 check for shoes on 5/27 Did the check clear? If you add the $1.75 for the nonbank ATM, you might be close.

I didn't DO anything. I determined that it was a silly, poorly-constructed question.
