PLEASE PROOF READ MY ESSAY??!?! Wilfred Owen was a British soldier and poet who fought and died in World War 1. He wrote the poem, "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori", which describes what war was like, and what he went through. Wilfred Owen’s language throughout this poem conveys feelings of fear, shock and anger. He watched people die. His fellow soldiers "went lame" and "became drunk with fatigue; deaf even to the hoots / Of tired, outstripped Five-Nines that dropped behind."
