Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1First, distribute the 1/5... a = 1/5b + 1/5c Since we are solving for c, we have to get all the c terms on one side. Let's leave it on the right side and subtract 1/5b a  1/5b = 1/5c Now multiply the coefficient of c, 1/5, by it's reciprocal, which is 5. This will isolate c... 5(a  1/5b) = c Now just distribute the 5 into both terms in parenthesis... 5a  b = c
