    well kind of think about it like this by looking at my drawing|dw:1433268564396:dw| a^2 = a x a so if you take a x a/ a then 1 a cancels out

    yes now lets work on the b part of equation and we will do it the same way as the a part |dw:1433268735251:dw| you see that I used the same concept as before to find b. Sorry for the atrocious drawing

    so now were left with -3ab which would be the final simplified answer. :)
