David, Ping, Mandy, and Alan are each studying one of the animals shown in the table for a science project. David is studying a mammal, but Ping is not. The animal that Mandy is studying can be found in the ocean. The animal that Alan is studying is slower than the animal that David is studying. Which animal is Alan studying?

    To me this just looks like one of those problems you use the process of elimination for, unless i'm missing some special technique you're suppose to use to solve this.

    That makes sense.. I was gonna go for that too. So I think that's your best bet. But i'd do some research to be a hundred percent sure.
