How will adding the value 75 affect the mean and median of the data set 1, 5, 7, 9 , 9, 10? A. The mean increases and the median stays the same. B. The median increases and the mean stays the same.     well the way of doing this is calculate the mean and median of the data set and then calculate it again with the added number and see what changes

    the mean is 6.8 of the original. then when you add 75 to the set of numbers the mean becomes 16.5 the median is 8 and when you add 75 the median becomes 10
