    square meter is the unit for area the area of a circle is pi*r^2 given r = 3.5 and using pi as 3.14 find the area let the area = x one unit of area sells for 3.25 so x units of area sells for 3.25*x

    so 3.14 x 3.5 (which is actually 12.25)
