Have you ever heard of the movie and book called Enders Game? If so, you thought it was a really good book/movie. But you didn’t really focus on the really big picture about this book. That they are actually are doing illegal things, like violating the kids human rights. Now as we discuss on how they did it and what they really did. Many children all over the world face the injustice of forced labor. And that’s what these kids are having done to them in this space program. Now, as you keep reading, I will tell you about how this really violated child labor in this book. To begin with, child labor was a big thing back then, they made a lot of children under the age of 10 working for more than 5 hours a day in the field or doing something they didn’t want to do. Like, when ender was forced to go to the space school when the leader told him he had no choice. Another reason on how this is violating child labor laws is that the kids weren’t able to speak with their parents nor their siblings. Because they did that so they would focus on their training inside the space program. That’s another reason that they are violating their child labor laws about them not talking to their parents and forcing them to keep training. Next, one of the big things is that bulling was happing during the space training. Like one of the team leaders who was a teenager told him he was in the way to success for his crew, and just a distraction. So, this goes for child labor for doing things that they don’t like and bulling which is a big Human rights issue. And then ender went to a separate team and he was demeaned the leader, and he had some friends on his team and some people he didn’t like. But, ender enjoyed being the leader and finally wasn’t an underdog in that training program. Finally, during the middle of the book Ender was advanced to his so called final training. But they put ender to what he thinks a practicing simulator as if he was battling the real aliens. The reason this has to do with child labor is that he didn’t want to do that and he told them that they should have told him what he was really doing. And the leader of this base violated every trainee was killed because the leader didn’t tell them that a boy was giving orders and that he didn’t know it was a real thing. In summary, we talked about how this book violated child labor. And we showed you the big picture on what you missed while reading this book, which you probably missed. Another thing is that we showed you that some things happened that accrue today like bulling and forcing kids to do things they don’t want to do.
