I NEED HELP PLEASE HELP ME!
Brad can make 4 key chains in an hour. Velma can make only 3 key chains in an hour, but she already has 6 completed key chains. Explain to Brad how he can use a system of equations to determine when he will have the same number of key chains as Velma. Use complete sentences.

This means B = 4x Velma can make 3 key chains in 1hr but she already 6 completed key chains... so this means you need to ADD 6. V = 3x + 6 If he wants to make the same number as Velma.. this means we want Brad = Velma right? So B = V We know B = 4x, V = 3x + 6 So since they must be equal to each other ( B = V).. we have: 4x = 3x + 6 Now we solve for x..

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0Slight mistake though, x should be number of hours and not key chains per hour, because key chains per hour is given both for Brad and Velma if brad can make 4 key chains in 1hour, in x hours he will make 4x key chains similarly for Velma we have 3x+6, equate both these and calculate x, this will be the number of hours Brad will need to work to catch up to Velma
