Evaluate sin 48°. Round to the nearest thousandth.

    I already know that the answer is sin 48° ≈ 0.743. I'm just not sure how to solve this kind of problem.

    well depends if you want the answer in radians or degree also the thousandths the place is the value three points after the decimal for example where the 1 is in this number .001

    The answer has to be in degrees. Problems like this will be on future tests, but I don't remember reviewing this particular kind of problem.
