Find the domain and range of the function: f(x)=-5 IxI+2

    absolute value of x means if x is negative make it positive and if it is positive, keep it positive. Using this rule, is anything forbidden? Like are there any values of x where you can not find it's absolute value? If so, then all values of x are allowed and the entire real line is allowed.
