Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1Did you measure the length of the big and the small triangle and tried to compare?

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1we know for sure that the scale factor of the dilation is increased by some number (that we must find) but not reduced. The dashed line triangle is bigger obviously.

Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.1the length (that crosses the xaxis) seems to have 9 on the left side and 7 on the right side. That equals 16. On the other hand, the small triangle has 4 units on the left and 4 units on the right along the xaxis. So the length of the small triangle is 8. 8*2=16 So, the scale factor of the dilation is increased by a factor of 2.
