Let's review definitions: 1. R-strategist organisms are ones that grow in unstable environments, are "weedy". Therefore, they produce MANY offspring, as a great many of them will die in the unstable environment. These have little parental care. 2. k-strategist organisms are ones that grow in stable environments, they have FEWER offspring and parents devote more time and care to them. 3. Logistic population growth occurs when the growth rate decreases as the population reaches carrying capacity (the maximum number of individuals in a population that the environment can support) 4. Density dependent organisms grow/level off/die in response to environmental resources available. This could be things like food or space.
