Best ResponseYou've already chosen the best response.0They want you to solve for the variable and then plug the solution back in to see if equals the right side so left side = right side, if they equal it will be the right solution, so \[5(x3)=45 \implies 5x15=45\] I distributed the 5 over everything in brackets now collect like terms and solve for x :)
