Quadrilateral ABCD in the figure below represents a scaled-down model of a walkway around a historic site. Quadrilateral EFGH represents the actual walkway. ABCD is similar to EFGH. What is the total length, in feet, of the actual walkway?

The scaling used is such that 60 ft of actual walkaway is equivalent to 4 in of scaled down walkaway. The total walkaway of scaled down version is 3 + 4 + 2 + 2 = 11 in. Now to convert it to actual walkaway we have to first convert it into feet and then multiply by the scaling factor. 11 in = 11 * .0833 = 0.9167 ft Now the actual walkaway if 0.9167/4*60 = 13.74 ft

Sorry one thing is wrong here. The last step should be: Now the actual walkaway if 0.9167/0.3333*60 = 165.02 ft
