Write the number of inches needed to represent 25 miles on the map if 1/2 inch represent 50 miles.

    Well since you know half an inch represents 50 miles, and you know 25 miles is half 50 miles. All you have to do is half .5 which means .25 inches or 1/4 inch represents 25 miles. Hope that helped :D
