i cannot find any videos on this subject. find the equation of a line that is parallel to the line x=8 and contains the point (-5,7)

    plot the line x = 8, which is basically a line through all of the points with x coordinate 8 eg: (8,1) and (8,3) and (8,7) |dw:1433812315930:dw|

    (5,8) (5,9) and so on as long as it starts with a 5

    I think you meant negative 5

    but yes, every x coordinate is the same: -5

    I had a typo on my graph. I meant to put -5 instead of +5
