No, add 5y^3 to -4y^3 then add 7xy^2 to -4xy^2 then add 10x to -8x and then add 9 to 4

You aren't adding the exponents, so for example x^2 + 4x^2 would just be 5x^2

You shouldn't have to guess. 57^3 -4y^3 is y^3 7xy^2 -4xy^2 is 3xy^2 10x-8x is 2x and 4+9 is 13
