Thomas ordered 2 Japanese comic books and twice that number of American comic books. He also ordered 4 Spanish comic books. Thomas told his mom he ordered 8 comic books. Was Thomas's calculation reasonable? A. Yes, it is reasonable because 2 + 2 + 4 = 8. B. No, it is not reasonable because 2 + 4 = 6. C. No, it is not reasonable because 2 + 4 + 4 = 10.

    That is the number of 'Merican comics. Add 2 to that number (the number of Jap comics.) So, you have (2*2)+2. Then, he ordered 6 Spanish comics. So, you have (2*2)+2+6. Does that equal 10? I say the kid is liar.

    Sorry, it was 4 Spanish comics, not 6. Replace that 6 with 4 above. He is still a liar.
