    The answer is not C. You use "and" when listing things.

    but they are stating that music is is very different, so they dont like it

    Even still, a semi-colon would be a better choice.

    I'm saying the answer is D. B is a comma splice (comma splices are incorrect). A semi-colon is used when you have two sentences and you want to connect them to make it one sentence.
