What is the common difference between successive terms in the sequence? 0.36, 0.26, 0.16, 0.06, –0.04, –0.14, ...

    difference means 'subtract' to go from the first term to the second term what do you subtract? so the difference is MINUS.....

    you will also see that you subtract the SAME amount to move to EACH term in the sequence. This is called an 'arithmetic progression'
