y = −2x + 8 y = x − 1 Explain how you will solve the pair of equations by substitution. Show all the steps and write the solution in (x, y) form. I'm having some trouble with this problem. I'll fan and medal anyone who can help. Thanks!

    1) We sub E1 into E2 since it tells you what y equals :) −2x + 8 = x − 1
