    Island of Hawaii. The grand canyon was formed by river erosion. The Appalachians do not have a volcano nearby and the Himalayas are created by two plates (indian subcontinent pushing against the Asian continental plate)

    The island of Hawaii in fact all of them were created by underwater volcano eruptions.
